can't seem to make a post with it asking me for tags

hmm....

just wrote a long post out and have been trying to "create thread" but it's telling me that an error occurred and i need to add "five tags" and then when i add five tags it tells me "i'm not allowed to add tags" and remove them.....

yes i made this one......hmmmmmm

any ideas?

Have you separated the tags with a comma, then a space -
Wheelo, Ireland, TechKings, words

Like that?

This has been a bit of a problem in the last few days.

still trying with spaces etc. but nada....

posting in "networking"

like this with the tags...

You may not create new tags. Please change the following tags: syslog, watcher, attacks, random ip, netmask

That was just an example, @StrawDog type one tag, press return, type next one, return, etc I have just posted a thread using that method.

The comma thing is not how it is done

tried the "type one tag and hit return" even though i put x 5 in comes back with "You may not create new tags. Please change the following tags: hack, attack, syslog, watcher"

pop back later some time.....thanks for the help though :) them pesky gremlins!

Maybe be cheeky edit your first post with what you was going to post and ask wheels to move and rename title and tidy up this thread?

ok, managed to suss it and get a post made... i had to select the "tags" that are listed and not any one's that are made up of my own....

so for example....syslog watcher ram memory drive are NOT listed......so just used x 5 of the boards to make the thread.....random one's like but got the post made :)

I have just posted a thread on the laptop too! I typed wheelo and then when I hit the comma button it put the word wheelo in a tag, I then typed nonsense hit the comma, and again it created a new tag. I can't get it to give me any grief.
