CCcam.cfg ftp

monko12

Newbie
Hi

I've accessed and edited the CCcam.cfg file in etc folder with my c:line server credentials. However sky channels still don't work. I get a blank dark page.

I've selected blue button > softcam manager > green tick and started CCcam.2.3.0

Active: CCcam.2.3.0.

Restarted box also, still no channels. (Only freeview working)

My twin tuner cables are screwed into LNB in & Tuner A

Box : zgemma 2s
Image : New Vix 3.2.021 ZgemmaSter 2s,

Epg is all fine. It recognises and lists the correct listings across all channels (even those which do not work)

Again the channels that do not work also have SN: 75%-95% range

Any ideas?

First thing I would do is a network test to see if your box is fully connected to your router and the net.
On menu > Information > Network I have bytes received 596599 sent 330053...does that indicate that the ethernet/Internet is working ok?

Also On menu > Information > Devices > Network Servers : none.

Does that mean my line is not working?

I believe that network servers is for storage. Mine says exactly the same and the line is working.

In Menu > Information > Network are you getting an IP and are you getting a green indicator opposite 'Link:' at the bottom of the screen. If so, you're getting an Internet connection.

P.S. I use Nlines, but do it by entering line details in CCcam.cfg file in /etc folder and with Active: CCcam.2.3.0. That's it...works perfectly.

What are you getting when you go into Menu > Setup > Softcam > CCcam info - highlight servers and press OK? I get the server details at the top with a green button beside it. At the bottom, it says Connected: followed by some figures. Does that reflect what you're getting?

Ah. At the top I have server details but it's red not green .

And at the bottom there isnt anything in front of Connected:

Go into Menu > Plugins > TSpanel > Softcams - is CCcam 2.3.0 showing there, with the green light to its left?

Are you certain that the line is active? Do you have access to any backend for line admin?

You sound like you are know more than the basics, but have you gone through this process of getting the line to work on a Zgemma before?

On TSpanel > softcams it says No ecm info

I've been trying all day and gone through numerous threads and videos and do remember doing something like this over a year ago on the skybox f5

Server guy confirmed twice today that the credentials I have are correct and everything on his side is fine.

Ok... I seem to recall that this advice may be contrary to advice given by some of the others on here - can't remember for sure though, but give it a try.

Go to Softcams in TSpanel - Press Blue (Install) - Look for CCcam 2.3.0 in the list, highlight it and press blue to install. Back on the previous screen, press green to start. All being well, exit from there and try a Sky channel. You shouldn't need to reboot the box, from memory.

next to the green light do you have: server.com port user pass:1

i'm curious about the :1 after your password, becuase it comes up on mine, yet its not in my CCam file. my CCam file contains 01 02 03 up until 14

Where is this, on the server info page within cccam info? I have server followed by :19827 (5-digit number)

Have you tried that installation I suggested above?

Just tried the suggestion above, however didn't work :(

Yes, on the server info page where i advised earlier i am getting a red icon, even though my credentials are correct. This is how it looks next to the red button:
server.com 12345 (port) monko12 (user) porsche:01

porsche is the password.

the credentials in the CCcam file are as follows (example):

C: server.com 12345 monko12 porsche 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

anything look out of place?

All looks ok, but less details are shown on the server info page with me.

I can PM you some test line details that I know will be active, if you want to paste them in place of your current Cline in the CCcam.cfg. It might help eliminate any issues with the server or line details.

Yeah if you could. Would be much appreciated.
