Changing channel very sluggish help please

I have the ipab image ( fantastic btw in my opinion ) . Recently ive noticed my channels are very slow when changing I have a funny feeling its related to the hdd i have which i use to record. Has anyone had this issue and know a fix for it . Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you think its your hard drive try disabling time shift. You won't be able to rewind live TV if you do but that should speed things up if it is your hard drive slowing things down

Do you mean slow actually changing the or unscrambling the new Chanel
