Changing head light bulb Fiat Punto

Hi all a usually simple job has turned into a nightmare Just checking a family members car for Mot and all was looking good checked the lights near side front headlight was out H4 bulb went to change it a bit tight due to a battery and air box this is were the fun begins the electrical block on the back of the H4 bulb is solid and will not move i have tried to take the bulb right out but the clip that holds the bulb in stops you from doing that any advice would be great just to confirm its fiat grande punto H4 bulb. Thanks

Had this problem on a ford focus mk1, did the same as pablo and sprayed some wd40 and let soak for a bit and i also used a hairdryer on low heat to warm the contacts up in the plug.

Thanks for your replies i will try the Wd 40 on the connection i cannot believe how tight it is also being outside in the rain and wind does not help either

One thing with grip on the old h4 is it is larger and wider and has a greater grip , shitty h7 bulbs overheat due to smaller terminals and overheating terminals.

If the worst happens kits are available in motor shops for all these bulbs.

Make sure bulb sits into place with the cutout as its important or headlight will be out.

Dont forget indicator colour is a very big fail over here as paint peels off the bulbs as one things that get missed or the brightness of a bulb as its gone black.
