Channel problems

Hi guys,

I have a Solo2 and F5s both using different line from the same server.

However, 2 channels do not work, Comedy Central X and Disney Junior +1.

They just scramble all the time, or come on for a few seconds if that.

Anyone else have this problem or know how to solve it? Solo updates channels everyday

Yea both SD. Probably noticed about a week ago. Seems strange they don't work or continuously scramble.

can you post up what you have for the channels , so we can say if moved, on the solo are you using auto channel maker? as here are ok on 3 boxes

Yea using ABM pal. Ya mean frequency etc? How do I get that pal?

on both boxes, should be simple as

(solo) if on vix press ok twice and your see on the bar the freg etc

on what box the solo?

download dreambox edit and do a scan on the freg via the set up menu (solo), then ftp to the box with dreambox edit, download the channel list and under "last scan" will be any channels new. on right remove the old one and drag the one from last scanned into the area you need

Makes no difference changing the frequency. It must be the server. Seems strange though.

no, not at all, means that they may have not updated what we call the svid of the channel.

Could you explain that please? The server has to update the svid?

yes, nothing you can do. they have a 4 letter code each channel and sometimes do change
you know like when movies channels get called 007 or xmas they code for it changes

I'm still having problems.

Server hasn't emailed me back when I asked about the svid.

So, I got a test line from elsewhere, Comedy Central X now works, but Disney Junior +1 still does not work. God knows what the problem is.
