Is it possible to decode a c i module to descramble uk channels on a smart tv

If its sky uk then its not possible as they do not release and official cam and card. There are other options though.

Virgin use a card less secure system at the moment and sky dont allow you to buy a card or cam so this option is out. Take a look at the viark type boxes.

I ran 2x gigablue dual tuners back in the day before it all went tits up , now there just in the loft dust connecting 🤯

The Viark boxes are able to connect to a commercial server (forever/Apollo) that have access to sky hd plus many others that are not available via E2 sharing.

Oh i see , so the enigma2 boxes gone , do you still need to buy a sub for the boxes or just buy the box flash and works

Enigma 2 boxes are all still fine with many packages open with a good euro line. Sky uk sd is open on E2 boxes but finding a server can be difficult. The viarks come with access to the server other boxes you have to buy access to the server called sp1 or sp2.

You can use E2 boxes with an IPTV sub and get all channels but obviously not using the satellite side.

I did used to run that but not using it for years iv forgot how to set it all up again 🫣

Does that all run off the sky dish or v cable or does it require a motorised dish?

Sky Dish providing you have a universal or Hybrid LND on the dish. If you had skyq then the lnb will most probabley need to be replaced unless its a hybrid type.

Just sky Q when i had it , how would i know what is what and how to replace for hybrid type

It may have a Hybrid LNB if not you just swap it out for a Universal.

Take a pic of the LNB and upload it here one of us will recognise what type the LNB is.

Did have 3 sets of cable going to the transponder before it was changed by sky last month

Thats a skyq LNB only mate.

So if you went for a Viark you would need to replace that with a Universal lnb. They can be had for under a tenner.
