Cline or not?

Hey everyone,

Next week (payday!) I'll be buying a gigablue quad and realise obviously I'll need a code to unlock the scrambling side of things (can't be bothered searching dead codes on a daily basis so I'm prepared to pay) however, my question is, do I go with cline, or nline or anything else that the box will support?

What's best? I'll be running a vix image if that helps?

Generally the pecking order is considered to be, MGCamd - Newcamd - CCcam

but as long as your line is good in the first place it probably won't matter.

Your N line can run in MGCamd if you change the front of the line.

Have a read here

Also if your looking for a server post in here

That's really helpful, cheers mate.

So, to be clear, the gigablue quad can run a MGCamd line, which is considered to be the best and most reliable?

i'll find a server when the time is right. :-)

Don't know what that box can run to be honest you will have to look through
the menus to see.

All I'm saying is if your server sends you an N Line, you can change the front end of the line
so it runs in MGCamd instead of Newcamd if your box supports it.

I have the same line running in two boxes, F5 runs it with MGCamd, Blade doesn't support
it so it runs it in Newcamd.

I would say it is more down to the servers performance than which protocol you use.

i have always went for n-lines myself because you know the people who have built the server have a lot of knowledge. however, with a c-line this is not the case as it is fairly easy to do. although BEEs is correct as long as the provider dose not over subscribe the service it dose not really matter.
