Cloud iBox 2 + on/off Problem

Hi Folks,
The problem is, I can switch off the box via the power button on the remote
but when I try to switch on with the power button on the remote nothing happens.
There is also no response from the blue button at the front of the box so I have to
use the toggle switch at the back witch means I have to wait for it to boot up.
3 questions please folks. 1. Is it safe to leave the box on all of the time.
(common sense tells me NO). 2. Should the blue light be on all of the time even
after switching off with the power button on the remote. I would have expected it
to turn red as TVs do in standby. 3. Is there a Fix ?.

Mine is always on and when i press the standby button it stays blue easy way to tell is does the cloud ibox screen go off? then its on standby

Think its just a bug with the image.

If you turn it off hows it going to update as well?

I just leave mine on all the while just put it on standby when not using it.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry I wasn't too clear. I assume the red button at the top of the remote puts the box
into standby not off. When I come to start the box putting the TV on first it displays a solid purplish screen
and as I said there's no response until I switch off and on by the switch at the back of the box. How do you
put your box into standby.

yes red button puts into standby

so after you press the red button you get a purple screen?

No the screen go's black. This is normally at the end of the day. The purple screen is there when I put the TV on the next day.
It seems the box don't go into standby.
