Cloud ibox 2 plus channel list on zgemma star 2s

Hi,
Is it possible to transfer a channel list from a Cloud ibox 2 plus to a zgemma star 2s box through dreambox edit?
Thought I better check it won't mess anything up before I try it!

Do u use specific ch list rather than autobouquets maker?

In theory yes but im guessing. They both should be able to use same file if u can find it to ftp it out of ibox into zgemma.
I know crossepg is slightly different on zgemma but shouldnt affect.
This is all theory as I use abm and autoupdate the lists every night.

I use both but decided to re do my list rather than try and import it.

Whats the benifit of channel lists over autobouquets? And hows it done? Cheers.

I would guess the poster is more used to the openbox receivers and the only reason to transfer channel lists as such is if you wanted your favorites/had edited the listings for own number layout.

Ah ok. I prefer the auto bouquets Over the old channel lists I used on starter boxs.

I only use my own list as I have set up a folder that the kids / wife can use easily! - has both BBC 1 Wales & BBC 1 North West in, same for ITV etc, and other channels they use regularly all in one place to make it as easy as possible for them! Also have motorised dish so group some of the other selections slightly differently for ease of access.

I use Dreambox Edit to do this.
