Hi Folks...

Today I got 2 cloud boxes which I flashed with the latest bootloader and vix appollo 041 which I had no problems with before ........ however one box works perfect and the remote refuses to work on the other ...... any ideas wot im doing wrong.....

The one thats not working must have old bootloader. Flash the 05/08/14 bootloader available in dowbloads before flashing 041 again.
 
Thanks for the reply m8............ right I flashed it again with the 05/08/14 bootloader and then flashed it with the 041 image again and still nothing ................ remote works perfect on my other box .
 
Try an earlier image like the helios 017 or even better 3.0.6. If its still happening it must be the ir reciever on the box id guess?

m8 might sound daft but try high power batteries in the remote i got 3 last week 2 worked with pound shop batteries but the 3rd remote would only work with high power duracell lol had me pulling my hair out
 
I actually tried a open pli image and still the same so im convinced its a faulty box ............ typical......... thanks for the help m8
 
No probs dude. I just got one with a faulty power connector but supplier was sweet and said just send board and he'd replace. He just sends them to be replaced so all well.
 
Also turned out the cable from the front panel wasn't soldered correctly ......... just have to send the board back also .......
