Create a network for home plugs

Hi can anybody answer this question! I currently connect to the internet on my desktop computer via my 3g internet from my fone (tethered) with a wireless usb connected to the computer to pick up the signal. I've just bought home plugs and they need to be connected to something via ethernet, is it just a case of ethernet in back of pc to home plug or is it more complicated than that?

Computer is windows 7

I want to use the home plugs to create network for my skybox f3, as wireless isn't working!

I have a router but don't use it as my computer connects fine via wireless usb stick.

Is there a way to make the internet from my mobile / computer / go through an ethernet wire plugged into home plug without router?

Please reply im really stuck with this one. cheers

Homeplugs take an existing wired internet signal at source (from the router) using one of the plugs and pass it through the existing electrical circuit at your location to whichever electrical outlet you plug the second homeplug into & that 2nd homeplug must be connected via cable (RJ45) to whatever device you wish to make internet enabled.

Basically want to share my desktop connection to home plug without having to get a isp with landline etc... Is it something i can do? cheers

What you are trying to achieve won't work with your current setup.

Have a look at this post & see if Connectify can help you?
