CrossEPG dissapearing after every reset?

Hi guys,

I just setup a new Zgemma h2s with Wooshield v5.

I have a usb recorder in the back port.

I downloaded crossEPG, but everytime i reset the box, quite a few EPG information goes missing until i re-download it again manually?!!

Is that supposed to happen? or is something wrong?

Thanks.

In plugins is there crossepg force reload? If yes then just click that it will reload the epg data quicker than a fresh download

I've experienced this. My solution was to copy all the EPG files from a box that's working ok and then FTP them onto the other box and overwrite the existing EPG files. It fixed the issue for me.

You could also give the USB a low level format and start again if you can't get some replacement files. Worth a try.

There's an option to reload epg on boot. Press menu, settings, cross epg, configure, 3 option diwn is force epg reload on boot. Change to yes and every time box boots a fresh epg is loaded.

Yep thats what i found and turned on, i think that is what solved it in the end.

I've had this sometimes too in EPG Importer and I think it's because the epg.dat file becomes corrupt. I fix it by deleting that file and manually re-downloading the data. After that, when I reboot it's back to normal, for a while anyway. lol

When resetting box are you holding On/Off button down and selecting DEEP STANDBY ? Prior to powering down this saves all EPG data for next reboot.
