Deleted trash can

Hi i have just deleted my trashcan by accident whilst deleting some old programs from my file list. How do i retrieve it? Thanks in advance

It should ask if you want to re-create it the next time you try to delete something.

I've done that before. Most times if you press delete on the trash can it deletes all the contents, sometimes it just decides to delete the whole thing. It always seems to come back though. Make sure its used though. press menu on file list page. And check the setting.

Thanks guys iv'e sorted it!! do you know how to flash wooshbuild online once you have flashed the box? iv been flashing with openvix. Im quite new to the H.2s and though openvix was good until i got a box with woosh on it.

I’m also having problems. I cannot seem to permanently remove recordings. I delete to trash can, go to menu and choose ‘delete all recordings in trash can permanently’ , but it does nothing.

My disk is slowly filling up and I can’t find any way to stop it!

I delete items one by one in the trash and when deleted list gets shorter.

I tried that. I moved to trash, tried to delete f I’m trash but they obviously go somewhere else because my disk space just gets less and less. I just cannot find an way of clearing the disk of unwanted recordings?!

Do you see the folder trashcan if you click on that it opens up to the deleted things you have in hdd,every now and again i think time to empty the trash and could be 20+ items in there scroll down and use the coloured buttons to remove them one by one.When all removed click on trashcan again to get you out.

Tried that too. They go somewhere but not off my disk. In fact it seems to just use even more disk space!?

Can you post up a screen shot of trash and contents?

here is my trash showing a few items that need removing.

It's probably nothing, but why is the folder called ".trash"? Is that normal on VIX?

I’ve tried to upload photo, not sure if I’ve succeeded.

I have only four items recorded and the trash can is empty, yet on still shows that 31% of my disk space has been used?

Having similar issues here, after deleting items from the movie folder they go to trash can, I then delete from there but my available space doesn't seem to increase. Everything else working ok though. Watching this thread with interest

Best to make sure storage is set to ext 4,depending on size storage may only go up a few %.
Note the figure before empty trash and after deletion exit out and go back in again to see any change.
