Satellite Difference Between H1 and S2

Hi, ive got myself and my dad an S2 and my mates dad is looking at getting the H1. I know you cant record and watch a different channel on these, which he isn't bothered about. Just wondering if there is anything else different, like the way there set up or anything, just incase I need to help him at some point if something goes wrong?

S2 is twin sat, H1 is 1 sat tuner and one freeview/cable, maybe soarview tuner, so you can record and watch another on the H1 just not 2 sat feeds
