Digibox D6 Max - thoughts?

I've recently come across this box and was wondering if anyone had any views on it?

It's not cheap - nearly £250. Hardware looks okay but the real kicker is it comes with certain apps that give what you would come to expect.

No subscription, just a one off cost for the box.

Anyone had any experience with it as I have a few concerns. The amount of shills on YouTube and online promoting it is a bit alarming. Where is the source of the content coming from? Quality of content? If they were shutdown you'd just be left with a very expensive Android box.

Spot on to be skeptical about it. Paying nearly £250 up front for pre-installed apps is always a massive risk. If those built-in apps or servers get taken down, you're basically stuck with a basic Android box worth £30. You'd be much better off getting a decent Firestick or Nvidia Shield and running your own setup.

Watched a few vids on this and agree with the above.

Despite the apps and if they go down, it looks very sluggish to me and im not supprised with that spec. Poor in my opinion.
