My poor Bosch intergrated Dishwasher has gone mad in time where my 2.15 hr hot wash turns into 5hrs or more .
Eco mode 2.55 must have run about 4 hrs .
So basically i need feedback on models your using and how long to wash dishes.
Think my cousin says hers is 30 mins/
With only myself in the house once a week it gets run./
I do have large things like a 13" glass bowl that needs space for cleaning.
Thoughts please

Washing up bowl.
Fits in the kitchen sink.

I think dishwashers are for large families, 6 plates, 12 cutlery, 4 or 5 pots and pans and serving utensils etc plus cups and glasses etc on every meal.

For one person they're not worth a carrot.

Rinse the pan and plate and leave utensils in water until you have enough to warrant running the hot tap and wash 4 plates, 4 pans and all forks etc, then 3 or 4 days later, do same again, you're not having three courses for every meal

That would mean to switch immersion on to have hot water. I can fill it in a week , no pots as of yet.

They've not got kettles in Ireland?

Save a few days plates etc, you've probably only had toast on them anyway, rinse off any sauces, soups etc off any pans, then give everything a good washing every 3-4 days, a kettle of hot water is enough for half a weeks dishes.

Can't see the point in using 10 times as much water and electricity.

Seriously, an hour's washing for something you've boiled spuds or eggs in?

Egg pot needs a clean but is handy and small , Micro needed for 7 minutes as cook in the bag ones. Been years since i bought Roosters.
 
Sup, Plumber here (Though, from the USA.)

Get a plumber out to check the waterline/inlet. If it's plugged, or if he finds something just stupid going on with the line it's a pretty cheap fix.
