Can any of the learned members tell me if there are any apps that would enable me to download and record content to watch when travelling? Many thanks in advance.

Or do you need a free one? If so, I'm out, I know feck all about crapple.

if you already have the media, then PlayerXtreme is a great option to load up the iPad with your favourite stuff.
