Downstream power levels

Hi guys, seem to be having issues with my box again. Some channels are not clearing but I think this is due to the connection rather than line I have.

I had something similar a few months back where an engineer came out and changed the router, but now I'm having issues again.

Is it my downstream power levels being too low that would cause this issue? Anything I can try from my end?

Thanks

Looking at them levels they are well below tolerances and may need an engineer visit to bring them back within at close to 0 as possible etc bare minimum is -6 and max +10

When they fitted the SH3 they fitted a galvanic isolator, this is then linked into a 3 way splitter. Could the splitter be at fault or is it still the line?

Take the incoming line off the splitter and straight into modem and reset and then recheck the power levels and remove attenuator if one is fitted as mentioned by siilver
Did you fit the splitter or did vm do this ?

I don't know why people are so ready to blame the line/supplier/box when in 90% of the cases it is their home setup.
The power levels are too high, as @rs500nutter has already stated - this will cause extensive freezing and/or pixellation / stutter / jumping
Where are channels 9-14? the images show channels 1-8 then 15-24 in your uploads
they're miles out anyway
what name/make 3 way splitter did VM put in?
did they put in those crappy white push-fit connections? - they're no good for enigma2 boxes.
what 3 Virgin devices are you running from the VM cable? - why did VM put in 3 way splitter?

10-14 are running around 1.1 and have no issues so I didn't bother posting that screenshot.

When I get home from work I will try the direct link straight into the router without the splitter and see if this improves the signal. Off the splitter, I'm using 2 Zgemma boxes and then the router? I'm not sure of the make of the splitter, I will confirm this later.

Was the initial install just a modem for internet ? Or did you have tivo/v6 boxes fitted at same time ?
When vm do an install they will calibrate the line power levels according to the equiptment that is being fitted etc.

Hi guys,

I haven't had chance to try just the one line straight into the router yet buts it will be done today at some point. When I initially took out virgin it was just internet and now I'm running 2 extra boxes.IMG_20190728_140937.jpg

My splitter looks like this., Router and 2 zgemma boxes.

Is this setup correctly?

The splitter is a good make but three different types of cable in use?
if you hav long lengths of cable, these will affect the power levels/interference.
What problems are you having with the picture?
pixellation/distortion?
remove the 3 way and try a 2 way with one box and router and see if the picture improves

I will try a different splitter and see if that helps, I'm getting pixelation and on some channels I get no picture like channel 5 HD but I can get all HD movies that work?
