Dual tuner cable box with timer recording?

I know you can record one channel and watch another but can recordings be set up in advance or am I expecting too much. Will be buying a new box to replace my amiko box soon. Looking for something with a good spec to use my current line on it.

You can set up recordings in advance or us auto timers which will look out for a specified programme and record it or just set timers to record on specific days at certain times. If you do a lot of recordings get a box which can take an internal hard drive to store it all on.
Once again it's down to how much you wish to spend on this.

Cheers mate. Had a search through other posts and worked out this was possible. Probably go about £250 when payday comes. Then burst ma gums setting it up:)
