Cable DVB-T2 on H1

There are a few mentions of the tuner in the H1 being a combi tuner and including DVB-T2 - In fact it states in the supplied user manual "T2/C Tuner in/loop out: Connect to terrestrial cable" - Does it actually support T2 and how do I go about scanning for those channels - I think I've tried every permutation of the settings for that tuner and connected and antenna, but either the box tells me it failed to start a scan or that it does not find anything.

I think the DVBT2 is BBC,ITV etc,but you need a vm line for those to clear, but they are available on sly without a line.Someone might confirm this.

DVD-T2 is terrestrial freeview (which includes those channels above) - They aren't encrypted so shouldn't need any line - HOWEVER, I'm not even that far, I can scan for channels, let alone potentially view them (or even unencrypt them)

You have a dish and/or virmin feed yes?

If you have VM, from point 19 onwards explains how to scan for channels.HD channels are in the HD bouquet

Do you have a H1 or H2H ??

H1 = "1x DVB-S2 Tuner and 1 x DVB-C Tuner built-in"
H2H = "Two Tuner DVB-S2 + DVB T2/C Hybrid Tuner"

The above is from their UK web site.........I didn't think the H1 supports T2

No, did you see in my OP i said I was tuning DVB-T2, NOT DVB-C, so I have neither Sky nor VM connected.

I have the H1 in front of me right now - I quoted from the supplied manual above - As the Zgemma UK website is only a distributor and not a manufacturer I wouldn't take too much notice of their website.

The Manual is wrong and was obviously a Printing mistake from the original release which has carried on throughout production, When the H1 was first announced the marketing Blurb did state that it had a DVB-C/T tuner but in fact it does not it only has a DVB-C tuner.

I know a lot of the Aliexpress sellers took some months to actually change there own adverts to miss out the 'T' part so as not too confuse customers but the obvious manual print mistake remains

thanks for clarifying - Do you know in that case if the H.2H has a DVB-T2 tuner in it, as this again seems to indicate so in the marketing blurb.
