Recording IPTV is still a bit iffy and unpredictable. I believe there is a recording issue with some providers (see above).
I have tested mine over the past week. Some recordings simply have not recorded; others a little bit before stopping. I was under the impression that you could only record an iptv channel if you were actually on it. Then, earlier yesterday using my EPG I timed-recorded (using the usual REC button under the red button) a football match on Eurosport HD but forgot to change it to the correct channel. In fact, my H.2S was in stand-by mode. Hours later, I remembered this and was kicking myself as I forgot to turn my box off standby and stick it on the correct channel. However, when I went on my Filelist/planner to delete my recording (expecting it to say "0 mins") it recorded the entire match! I absolutely have no idea how it happened. I was unaware that the H.2S could change and record the right channel for you (I obviously knew the box could do this on FTA and the old CS channels but not for IPTV).
Now knowing this, I tested it again early this morning auto-timing two movies on IPTV at different times whilst leaving the box in standby mode. Tried them both this morning and they both worked, much to my amazement.
I find that for some unknown reason, if you stick the IPTV channel you wish to record and leave it on there, it freezes just as the record facility begins. Now, you may be lucky to record the first few minutes but then it stops. The minute you change channel whilst recording, it stops. If you playback the channel that you are currently recording, it stops! At the moment, all I can suggest is that you try recording a short programme on an iptv channel but stick your h.2s on standby. See if that works. I would even go further and suggest switching to a FTA channel first. It will be interesting to see if your box is able to automatically switch over to an iptv channel you have auto-timed. Then, look to see if your box has recorded the programme in its entirety.
