EPG fail

Anybody else's EPG failing to update been ok since I installed new software

just try again later as the server that the skybox uses for e.p.g can be funny that is why people who use vu boxes dont genraly use it as we can get a direct feed the same as sky.

You may find that the usb drive is full if you wipe it clean the plug back in then update the epg worked for me seems my 64gb drive lasts about a week

64 gig in one week? i cannot belive that opentv providers on vu is considered to be memory hungry that is a total of 19 meg i think the skybox uses xmltv providers and that should use less memory

mine keeps saying fail to decompress when i manually update it
any ideas

sussed it usb drive not working using another now

reformat your usb to fat 32 that will fix the issue 99.9% of the time.

Re formatted stick, downloaded EPG data, rebooted box and all good now but only get 5 days (XMLTV) which I'm ok with.

as far as i know xmltv will give you 5 days.

Im having the same prob was fine till today dowloads fine de compress finishes then message 'epg decompress failed check drive'
bulgaria finland etc work fine
nothing has changed on my skyboxf5s ???? had been working fine
tried usb stick reformatted it still nothing ,any ideas?

The xmltv uk is down at the moment we are all getting it

Hi, any ideas when the channel list will be up and running, we are still getting epg failed , and now really missing having the channels on the TV.

A channel update has nothing to do with EPG You should still be getting your channels

The EPG is not working we are waiting for the little Chinese buggers to fix it It fails now and again and they normally fix it with in 24 hours but not this time
