epg for kodi?

hi, i m using KODI with an m3u8 list and my provider has given me a link for epg saying it works fine.

When i put it on the pvr client-where epg url is needed- nothing is happening.

Do i have to do sth else to have epg?

I mind trialling it. Don't think I done anything special. Could be link or provider issue. Try some of the free external sources...
