hi good people can you please advise,ive a 1st class 12 month sub can,t fault the service provided,apart from i cant seem to be able to setup the full epg ,when i manually install via epg importer plugin it installs about 10,024 events but when i check its only imported,entertainment,news,kids,irish folders everything else the channels works perfect but no epg.

im running Woshbuild ver 6.1 are there any setting i need on the importer,as i say the service ive been provided is perfect and i will renew,bit thats another thing

The first thing to do is speak to your provider, as the epg data is provided by them. 10,024 events sounds low. I have just ran epg importer for my IPTV and I have 28,341 events imported and I have 5 days epg for all of my IPTV channels.

The only settings to check are that you have the correct sources ticked in epg importer, there is nothing else to change.
 
Are you using SULS? I you use the new 7.3 ipk and put in your full EPG URL(and m3U) you will instantly go from 10k events to near 30k I'd suspect. SULS changed something recently and affecting loads of old provider scripts.
 
hi bangord30 mate as far as im aware im using SULS ware would i find my full epg url and m3u , also ware would i get the 7.3 ipk ,ive got a script sent to me by my provider which i installed to the zgemma via putty but im not that clued up any help would be very much aprieciated ,as i say the sevice is 1st class cant fault it

Your supplier will know. I presume you've no sky sports EPG for a start? SULS site has the putty command to install 7.3 IPK aka plugin. Then ask supplier for your m3u and epg urls(no reason why he shouldn't) then to save using you remote to type in a mouthful(Tinyurls are banned) you're best editing config.xml in /etc/enigma2/e2m3u2bouquet with Notepad++. You will see where to put the details.

Then look in EPG Importer at the bottom and you should see a new source to tick and export.

I've wasted a lot of hours on this so know it works lol. It's a pain I agree!!!

I have found an issue with Woosh not installing the new Suls and have to insert it manually. Your provider should be able to patch the suls IPK to include their configs too tho since its all been shifted to providers side.
 
A bit off topic but the issue with Woosh was that when installing version 0.7.3, putty was reporting it was already installed but it wasnt in the plugin browser. I had to manually insert it into /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions and then add the config to /etc/enigma2/e2m3u2bouquet

I had a report last nite about Vix too so confirmed that has an issue too. All OK on ATV

@s40 Like bangord30 has already said, Your issue is that you need to update to the latest Suls otherwise the EPG wont populate on the old version.

Thanks all for your kind help reg this matter will look into updating this weekend when i have more time
