f3 freezing question

I setup my first F3 box its fine no problems so decided to get another one that has newer software the box keeps on freezing so am assuming there's a prob with the software.

1st box older software version dated 27/07/2012
2nd box newer software version 31/10/2012

can anyone tell me what version of software is more stable any advice appreciated thanks
 
Are you using different servers ?

If you are using the same, then it might be something simple
like a faulty ethernet cable. Bad F connector. Swap some leads around.

If you are using different servers
you could swap the lines in each box.

That way you could start to narrow down weather
its a signal problem to your box or a line problem.
These are easy checks.

If that doesn't solve it I would go with the less likely software
problem. It's just if there are software glitches they seem to be posted pretty
quickly and lots of people are aware of them.

what i did notice was when i first plugged in the box i struggled to get a signal at first the dish has been hanging unused for about 6 year gonna replace the lnb and get the dish reset also have bad snow here just now which isnt gonna help either
