FireFox Settings and Tweaks

lads is there an add on or something for firefox to open a new tab without having to click on file on the top of the page and then new tab or having to press ctrl+T?
something like they have in IE
ive only started to use it recently so still working through different settings

about:config in the address bar is a nice feature for changing settings so if anyone has changed any of the values let us know :)

You forgot Ladies!!!! :)

Toolbar Buttons Extension.. lets you add extra buttons (like new tab, new window, etc) then just click on your button.

If you already have more than one tab open, you can double-click to the right of the last tab to open a new one. One of the beta versions had an arrow or something to click to open a new tab, which is supposed to be implemented in an upcoming release.
