The z12 does have the same old hardware from the z11 pro but you do get more storage, DV support and a newer remote.
It’s going to be a downgrade for both in power compared to Cube.

I get that your the forum sponsor but just to ask - other than sales posts (apologies if I'm mistaken), I see you provide no support on the forum for the devices despite selling them?
Obviously we have experienced users that can share their experience but nothing 'official' from an 'authorised seller'.

My first spin with it was not great. Literally installed Plex as the first app, opened a media file within and the audio was out of sync with the video! Same file playing on Plex on my Samsung TV, absolutely perfect, as it was on my Fire Cube 3rd Gen.
MyTV feature is good, but I am currently back on my Cube until I can find more time to play with the Z12 and see if there are any settings needing applied to have trouble free streaming.

Apologies but I went with Amazon, as this is a purchase that could end in a return if the device is not up to it. You may have a decent returns policy, but I have never had an issue with Prime returns.

There are some known issues with the Z12 mate which the developers are working to fix. They have said there will be an update to the box very soon. Hang fire!!

Yes, but it should not be that way. At £170, I expect it to be on par with the FireCube, which works flawlessly. You cannot price yourself into the expensive end of the scale but provide kit with problems.

i got the z12 in november if memory is correct and its probably my favourite IPTV player there are known bugs and if your unfortunate enough to have the random reboots you'll hate it
but for me its been working great i do record to to an external ssd and connect via ehternet port with wifi switched off and while some recordings are cut short but not that many and its far and away much better than any IPTV player on ios or android

I’ve just moved to a Formuler Z12 and it’s been great so far. I’m not using the MyTvOnline3 app though as I was struggling to get use to it. I must be getting old and stuck in my ways!
Probably no point in formuler box unless using mytvonline really
I’ll give it time. It’s the menus and remote I’m taking time to get use to
I never got used to them lol too many buttons which are not needed lol
