ftp no longer supported in filezila any solutions?

does anybody know another easy to use (basic) ftp site as filezila no longer supports ftp

File zilla must be supported there logo is.. the free ftp solution bit pointless otherwise

Just used it here about 15 mins ago worked perfect (keeps telling me to install new one but I don't)

try dreambox control centre (dcc) for short

WinSCP or if you're running Windows just connect over the network.

filezilla client works ok,if having issues reboot box and router recheck ip on box enter ip and root it should connect.

cheers tried everything just keeps saying insicure server does not support FTP over TLS,was working fine last month when i last used it,i always avoid the updates in filezila it looks like its updated tho,new versions of filezila i am guessing will show this now,theres a way round this but loads of config needed which i cant do,il try the dreambox FTP cheers for info guys

Make sure you do not add in a port number other than 21. TLS is an encryption method, which uses different secure port numbers. FTP uses port 21. A way to ensure that you don't accidentally do it, is to get used to putting 21 in as the port number.

Also ensure that the tick for 'limit local ports under filezilla' is not ticked (settings\ftp active mode).

I been getting that message for a long time but it still connects no problem though.
