FTP Not Connecting

Newbie
I have tried to connect to my zGemma via FTP with username 'root' and password empty

I get "critical error could not connect to server"

I have used "plain FTP" and that doesn't work. I can connect to my box through webif so it is not a connection error any ideas?
 
Is the password not root as well? Just thinking out loud here but I use flash fxp for my zgemma and I use root for my password to get it connected.
also a quick check to see if your IP address has changed since you last used the first, just a thought!
 
Tried that also ill give flash fxp a try and I'm connected on my browser to the IP so its definitely not changed

Tried Flash FXP I get this message " Connection Failed (connection closed by the server)
 
Last thing would be turn everything off. Then router on. Wait 3 mins. Pc and box back on.

If still no good u might just be safer and easier reflashing

That pops up until its searched and found ip address. Once its in click reconnect

I see just tried that and no luck :(
