Get a vpn if your worried

I have a VPN a friend got this and that’s the first thing I recommend to him , I’m pretty sure he got it for using torrent sites not streaming.

yah a mate has had all sort of warnings for torrents.

Do these “get it right” people have any authority or are these idle threats.
He’s gonna get a vpn but I was just curious to know a little about it.

That is because content is being shared... From what I remember, they won't do you for downloading copyright material... However, once you start sharing copyright material (i.e. through torrents or uploading to other upload sites), that is when you will get the notices... So it's going to be for the torrents, rather than IPTV (as IPTV is downloaded as a stream, not uploaded)...
