If you have not done updates for a while it will say that message........just make sure you have a backup of your box in case something goes wrong, but you should be fine to just go ahead and do the updates.....fingers crossed.......it has been fine every time I have done it.

There are a lot of people who dont even do the updates, so it's personal choice really.
 
Hey dt99 thanks for that......looked for something that says "back up your box" but cannot find anything. One last piece of info please.....how the hell do you do a complete backup of your box?????

I honestly cant remember, I would need to be in front of my box to remember the options......have a search on the forum for 'create a backup' or something like that, there are loads of threads on how to do it. Failing that I'm sure someone will be along soon who knows how to do it, I wont be back in front of my box for a few hours yet, sorry.

Press the menu buttons and select Setup -> Software Management -> Backup Image.
 
Guys, Thank you all so much for your help today! i'll do the image backup tomorrow. Rightnow i think i need to rest my brain a bit ha ha. certain that ill be back on here for more help soon though. Thanks again
 
Back to my initial post. After updating my box to wooshbuild 6 the problems with glitching and freezing seems to have been cured.Time will tell i suppose
