Cable H1 VM Channels & Parsing events

Hello

Just set up my first H1 with both Sat and Cable, it ran its first CrossEPG this morning and looks to have put most things in order. But the EPG ran at 05:00 and at 06:00 it was still "Parsing events", I watched it for a 5 minutes or so - no movement so I restarted the box.

Checking the EPG againg and some channels are missing information (Sat CH5 being one). I'll let it run again tomorrow and check again but not sure if I've not set something right.

VM Channels - Also if I switch from a FTA to Sports HD it sometimes sticks and doesn't play the HD channel. If I go back into EPG and select it will then come on. Again is it something I've missed somewhere. Or is it because I'm running both a Sat and Cable Sub together?

have you followed a walk-through, and updated Rytec providers etc?

The stalling on the channel change will more than likely be a tuner issue than an EPG issue. All my previous budget receivers and my H1 have always been a bit hitty missy with channel changing, I just put this down to the fact there not expensive boxes lol!

H1's run both sat and cable fine...

try running just the sat EPG (opentv provider) only and use the VM previews channel as an EPG updater as described in this thread?

Yes did the walk through, pretty confident I did everything. Had issues updating Rytec so re-flashed and it worked 2nd time round . Will have a read through that thread this evening, seems only to be the 1st time I change channel, if I keep flicking through the rest are fine. I can live with it for what it costs, I'm just a bit OCD with stuff
