Hi. Yes I've tried 2 different usb sticks, and there was a force file in there. It still says boot on the box and doesn't change.
Did you change it to force yourself because by default, it's set to noforce.

Nope. I just noticed there was a file in there that said force. Do you know how I can change it to force? I've tried to open it but it won't open. Cheers.Did you change it to force yourself because by default, it's set to noforce.
If it looks like thisView attachment 27093 right click file and rename to force and it should look like thisView attachment 27094
hi, sorry for the delay. i was in work yesterday. im home today. here are some screenshots ive taken this morning. the box still says boot, and doesnt change. If it looks like thisView attachment 27093 right click file and rename to force and it should look like thisView attachment 27094. When you rename it it will jump from third file in to first file as they appear in alphabetical order ( or at least it does that on a linux pc )
not sure. how would i unzip them? cheers. You're not putting the zipped folder onto a usb stick are you?
you want the extracted zgemma folder, (with the force file inside it) on a formatted usb stick as mentioned above by @Willo3092 then insert this into the rear usb port on the box
It's worked. Thank you so much guys, I thought my box was dead. lol. I just need to install my IPTV line back on it now. I have the instructions from my supplier to do that. You've been great guys. thank you so much.Download Willo's file from 2 posts up right click it and from dropdown menu choose extract here. Once extracted it will have a folder inside called WilloBuild-OpenViX-5.0.series-Zgemma-H2S . Double click to open it, inside are 2 folders and a pdf document, one folder is entitled preparing flash drives which contains instructions and an exe file for bootice which will prepare your usb stick in the correct format. Once usb is formatted copy the other folder called zgemma to usb stick it already has the file inside named force so no need to play with it. Usb stick ideally should be less than 8gb in size as zgemma's are fussy things when it comes to flashing. I have 4 different makes of box and only the zgemma is a prick to flash. Out of half a dozen usb sticks only 2 work on it.
