hi have h2s set up at home for son ,,when i take to sons house , just getting blank screen with no signal on screen , have remove cables 2 from his sky box enter them in ln lnb ports correctly , take box home works fine , did not notice when setting back up his sky box , it took awhile to come back on , was shown no signal , puzzled here any help

Ran into a similar problem setting one up at a friends house, turned out the default video is set to 1080p and their tv was only capable of 1080i.
Take it to your TV again and check that setting.

I'm sure there's a sequence you can input blind using the remote control to change between resolutions. Have a search on here or Google.

Looks like it doesn`t work like that with this box,

on the tv you have that is ok go into the menu and change to 1080i and Save

Are you getting anything on the telly if not it may be set to 1080 and if he does not have that on his telly you may have to drop it to 720 to work to do this Menu>setup> system>AV settings
If you are getting no sat signal check signal on both tuners

what i get when i switch is vix image few seconds then gone 1265 show on box , then changes to time no connection between remote and box

For future reference, VMODE simply changes the aspect (not the resolution), so from scale, letterbox etc.
