As some of you know, the Edision OS Mega has been found to suffer disc free space loss, which can be very substantial, just from typical activities - programme recording, timeshifting, live programme pause, e.g. See:

It has now been reported that the problem is more widespread, and is affecting other boxes that have been tested that are on Vix and ATV (but not Pli). Apparently it is a problem within Enigma 2.
For the Edision OS Mega, the missing hdd free space can be reclaimed (until going missing again) by a hard restart or a file system check. For a cure, the current suggestion is that not only is a forthcoming version of E2 required, the hdd also has to be re-initialised.
