hdmi to usb

hi,i recently bought a fire stick to use for iptv instead of siptv,i have no spare hdmi connections on my samsung tv,i have been looking for a hdmi to usb adaptor to fix this,would a type c usb be compatable with my tv or do i need type a(2.0),thanks,llamedos.
