I was expecting the volume out over HDMI to be at a fixed level, but it appears to be be conrolled by the volume control - less than ideal I suspect for a quality perspective but hey ho, my big issue is the way the volume level changes with audio source.
I am outputting everything in the native audio resolution, 5.1 is loud and clear, the volume contol doesnt seem to make much difference, as long as one bar is showing on screen all is fine but switch a stereo or mono channel and the volume drops right off. I need to turn the volume up well into the yellow area and wind the processor volume up to get anything close the the volume level with 5.1
any suggestions
secondly is there any way to mute the volume or mute the volume for longer when switching between SD and HD? I am getting lots of nasty noises when I switch and it looses/regains sync
