buying the kids a TV for their room. Looking at getting a 32 inch samsung "smart" tv with in built wifi for netflix and catchup tv and will connect it to a freeview sat box as I don't have tv ariel to that room. I read somewhere that some tv catch up app tv services only work when an Ariel is connected which seems odd to me. My kids will mainly use ITV catchup app, can anyone confirm does the Samsung ITV catchup work without connection to an ariel or set top box.
