Hi

I have justed flashed cloud ibox 2 with openvix zeus.008 got image on all channels working but mgcamd 1.35a needs to be restarted every time I switch box on and off, I keep getting a lot of crashing on box any ideas what I have done wrong?
 
I have same prob with 1.35. Was going to roll back to earlier 1 later tonight.

Whats crashing the box on you?

Do u use an initialised to ext4 usb/hdd mounted, that lives in the box permanently and holds epg data and swapfile?
And just to clarify, it a 2 not a 2+ yes?

The box was running ok apart from 1.35 I then thought I would backup everything before installing more plugins but when I added usb stick to mount the box crashes. I have never bothered backing up before, I want to stick with openvix as I prefer the image to openpli mainly because 7 day epg looks better. crash logs show different things all the time.
 
The box will keep crashing and eventually brick if you dont leave a usb in there to take the stress. Its going to be wiped and formatted purely to live InIn box. Let us know if you want to do tjat.
 
Yes.
Small internal memory gets overwritten too many times and large epg updates etc will eventually burn it out.
And is it a 2 or 2+ sorry?

Sorry but the dl site for raw images seems to be down for the 2.
And the forum isnt linking either.

Cloud-ibox'dot'com is their official forum tho so some 2 images in the forum there
 
To fix the mgcamd not working on reboot u must remove any CCcam.cfg file and any other cams in plugins. Then it works fine. Cheers mike123 :)
