fomat your usb to FAT32 or else you will get a file mismatch

1.Unzip AJ's List XX-XX-XX.zip with a program such as winrar & place the TP_PROG.DBS file onto the root of your USB drive.

2.In the Openbox menu delete your current channel list by going to the "Edit Channel" tab & selecting "Delete All".

3.Staying in the menu navigate to the "Tools" tab then "Upgrade by USB", change the upgrade mode from "Image File" to "Misc Files" then "Select & Upgrade" & select "TP_PROG.DBS" then press yellow, if all done correctly it should begin to upgrade.

4.Once the upgrade has completed restart your box & voilá!

also try downloading the file through a different browser like firefox, chrome. internet explore is not 100% reliable.

hello, sorry about this. you must get this everyday but i am doing exactly what you have said and I'm getting no channels. I'm downloading from ajsat website. I'm uncompressing the file as I'm using a mac.

any suggestions where I'm going wrong?

I'd say check your usb stick works in your box. Have you tried just doing a sat search on your box seeing if its working ok?

Try using the cwaite list and see if that makes any difference. Just download it and drag it onto your usb from your downloads folder, no need to unzip or anything.

if its showing TP_PROG DBS 1 wont work for you had same problem on my box ,file not found , download from another computer worked 1st time

I have just had exactly the same problem. I eventually worked out that it was because I had 2 usb drives plugged in. One was a portable hard drive plugged into the back which was allocated USB A and then the USB stick with the file on it was plugged into the front, which was allocated USB B. Each time I tried I kept getting the file not found error. Once I unplugged the hard drive and rebooted, the USB stick then became USB A and the upgrade worked. I think this must be because the update via USB is assuming the file is on USB A. I have an openbox V5s.

Hope this helps.

Im struggling to update channel list. iv downloaded the list but it keeps downloading as a internet explorer file because i have no program on my laptop that can deal with DBS files. any suggestions.
