Help. Stuck on boot

Hi, I was going to flash my friends 2s to wooshbuild v5. I turned it on this morning and made a copy of his line details and then tried to make a backup of his old system.

Tried twice and both times it failed. Timeout error. The box crashed but restarted each time.

Now the box won't start up. It doesn't move past displaying boot on the front panel and the openvix bootscreen.

I've tried inserting a properly formated usb with basebuild v4 and v5 on it but the box never changes from boot to flash.

No good deed ever goes unpunished I guess! Never have these problems on any of the h2s I've done.

I've downloaded the latest openvix firmware and it seems to be flashing now.

Hello there,
I am no expert ? But if you do a full format on the USB that your using .then put the build back on the USB that should do the trick [emoji106] sometimes the USB loses the Master boot record and your sat box will not read the USB flash properly [emoji106] hope it helps racy12010

its being a real pain. It let me flash openvix which worked. then i tried again to flash wooshbuild and nothing. I messed around for a while and it does say flash on the front panel but no builds are actually flashing now. not even the openvix will again.

I'm working again but with wooshbuild V4. tried both download links for V5 and neither of them would flash. Box said flsh on the front, but it didn't matter how long i left it. nothing happened

There was an issue with the Wooshbuild v5 image on Mirror 1 that meant the front display would always say FLSH, as the image was too big. Mirror 2 was correct. but I never got around to trying that one.

Not sure if that was fixed.

not sure if its been fixed or not, but both mirrors 1 and 2 are now giving a 114mb file when its unzipped.

I've set up V4 and got everything working as i want it. Made a full backup and now i'm going to try flashing v5 from the update menu.

If that doesn't work, then i'm just going to re flash my v4 image and call it a day.

I can't believe how slow the 2s is compared to my H2s, but with wooshbuild on it, its running far better than it was this morning.


Looks like v5 is up and running now!
