Repossession orders for a number of properties, where mortgages were left unpaid, were issued in the High Court this morning.
Court Hears about mortgages left unpaid
One property, a family home, accumulated €54,000 over 39 months of non-payment.
Sub-prime lender Start Mortgages was granted a repossession order for the property by Ms Justice Elizabeth Dunne with a stay of six months.
The owners of the property were not represented in court.
In another case, Start Mortgages obtained a repossession order for a house bought as an investment property in 2008.
The court heard that arrears of €36,000 had built up on a €272,000 loan.
Once again the owners did not appear in court.
