Hotbird 19.2 HD ?

Hi,

I was just wandering if you can get the HD channels from
this sat ?

I have got a mate who is getting a new dish (90 cm solid) and a spiderbox.

He has been told he can get HD from Astra and Hotbird ?

I think he is being had off as the guy recons he has got a patched
channel list for Astra HD (very hush hush) which I think is bull.

Don't know about Hotbird though

I assume he is going to install a rack on the LNB so he can pick up both sats, it's deffo not motorised

Anyone got any info ?

Any help is always appreciated.

on Hotbird 13 east you get lot of HD channels for sports you get canal+sports polsat sports etc.. most HD channels have language selection option.
for entertainment HD channels Hotbird is good option if your service provider gives you full acess for that.

for serching hotbird 13 east use this tp for serch it have strong signal 11727 V 27500 3/4

if that tp was clear u get almost all HD channels on 13 east 11411 H 27500 5/6 dvbs2

for research purpose redlight hd,hustler and i think sct hd work,bit of up and down movement and hotbird is 13e,hmm 19.2 yes sky deutchland in hd and some in english,game of thrones lol

you do know there are servers out there doing multi sat packages,thus having a motorised or rack system has its advantages,does spiderbox come with a free gift as like the protek sat boxes?

Yes bees, quite a few of the european packages are showing HD.Which channels in particular has your mate been promised? No sly uk HD on those sats. Also, whats a patched channel list? Sounds a bit fishy. Sure a Blind scan would come across any services available. Give me a shout if the dude comes good.
 
think its what i get on my protek receiver as my bouquet at times upgrades itself with a new list of channels,some are small working ones.

I will take a look and see what he is getting, thought the Astra HD was a load of bull
otherwise we would all be on it lol

Just got the impression he is being sold a box with little support and he was going to pay an over the top price
and be blagged.

He is getting it set up and installed next weekend so I will let you know if it's any good.

I will ask how much he is paying for a Euro package

Think he after the footy mainly, but it wouldn't surprise me if he ended up in the red light district !!! lol

Hmm !! not really the way I would go but will check if it's hotbird 19 or 13.

must have had my motorised about 7 years and only started to use it lately when i found a bigger picture lol.
 
cactikid, well motorised system in uk is great, you will get 13 E,19E,23 E ,16E,28E,1w,4E also 30w --- a lot of fun specially sports and movies in HD :)
