Watched 2 episodes, it's good but I made the mistake of trying to keep an eye on the golf, too

Finished House of Guinness, you know instantly it’s written by Steven Knight. I’m guessing the brief was something on the lines of give us a cross between Downton and Peaky. It’s good fun, makes only the most passing attempt at historical accuracy (there was a Guinness family, they did brew porter, they were Irish, that’s about it), has a pretty amazing sound track and the odd dodgy Dublin accent. If you liked Peaky, you’ll enjoy it.

Just finished series 1 (8 episodes) took 2 episodes to get into it but it was worth the time investment as now cant wait for series 2. 7.5/10
