Does anyone know how to fix my ip address on my Zgemma H.2S box please? I'm using a Sly broadband router if that makes any difference? I'm sure most know like I'm sure I heard this a few times before in these forums. & could someone tell me how to reverse the process if I need at later date too?

Thanks in advance

I heard you can fix it, I use dreamplayer upstairs & the gf moans if it's not working when she wants to use it? Heard somewhere you can fix the ip address which would probably help & stop her moaning too! (Well maybe?) Haha.

You should be able to log into the router and assign a permanent address.
Just search for attached devices in your router settings and if I remember rightly you assign the ip address to the mac address of the zg.

Don't you put a long number in like 192.168.0.(500)
Something one of you devices won't be using?

Yes, you pick what number you want to assign it and then you have to log into your router and assign that ip address to the zg mac address.
If you look in Menu > Information > Network it will tell you what the mac address is and what IP address the zg has been assigned at the moment.

Login to ur sky hub on 192.168.0.1 using admin/sky as login credentials. Then press advanced tab and then lan ip setup within that. In here ull see a reservations table. This will allow u to give ur zgemma a static ip.

I managed to get to the advanced screen & know what my ip address the zgemma is using but what numbers do I need to imput? Is it the wan setting page?

No its the one called LAN IP setup (2 over from the WAN settings page) then ull see address reservation. Click add and then click the radio button next to the ip address of ur box.
