how do i re-flash a dm800hd clone

Unfortunately without at least the service socket, I am unable to help you as it takes a program to recover your dm.

hi guys sorry to but in on this one ,could any one tell me how you find out if its a clone or not. ive brought a dreambox 800 hd pvr used dreamup to flash through rs232 cable today but not having any luck.
tried 4 different images

A quick visual check of the rear panel would usually determine if original or clone.

An original has black fixing screws, a clone has silver screws.

Additional info would be needed to get you up and running again as follows;

Power down the Dreambox and disconnect the power lead from the mains.

Connect a known good lan cable from dm to your router.

Press and hold the power button and reconnect the power lead.

STOP should show on the front led, including Sim type and bootloader version.
release the button.

You might have to repeat the above to get an IP address showing.

Post back on here all info displayed on the front led.

Cheers for that its got black screws mate i just need a image and boot loader it says on boot sim 2.01 if that helps.
Im not sure what image or boot loader to put on and in what sequence i load them, ive read so many different ways just confused now lol.
I do appreciate and help you can give me.

First flash the 84d ssl sim2 bootloader attached to this post below, then download and flash;

Sim2-Unofficial-Gstreamer 1.9.0.1-DM800-2016-04 V2-based on-OpenPLi 4-Jasper-20160416

Hi mate ive managed to flash via network much faster thanks for your help ,at the moment its scanning channels i loaded openpli 4 image and ssl84d seems to be ok at the minute.
thank you for your help much appreciated mate i was pulling my hair out lol
