HUDL 2 TABLET ISSUE

Hi guys

i am about to give up on this, i have a hudl2 running android 5.1, appears it cannot be upgraded to latest , roblox does not load , just closes each time i try to run it, tried resetting to factory a few times and re-installing it but to no avail, i am now thinking trying to root it and installing latest andriod , if anyone here knows how or if i shoulld attempt this do let me know

how do you mean use laptop? i did a hard reset holding down power and volume button, re-installed the app but obviously an issue with the version of android
 
I have reset a few by using blue stacks software which will allow you to transfer all the software from the tablet across and then reset the newer android version for your device
 
So I can upgrade the android to latest, i don't need anything from the tablet, i can re install what few apps i need again

could you send me the link to the software please?
also any risk of bricking it ?
