The big problem is the quality once the football is shown. You get a person running with a shadowy picture in front of the player or players while there is lot of extra movement. In fact when the camera shows the moving players it really nips my bum.

Bought a dearer Hisense 65inch Oled tv hoping this would solve problem. The answer is no

So I wonder if you could help in watching perfect quality football on your TV.

So advice on new telly is welcome and look forward to your help

You are always a great help especially to us who are ageing.

Not sure why you're seeking another new TV if it might not be the TV?? I have 2 Hisense TV's and the newer one has a very good picture quality without screen burn/lag, etc.
  • What is the source of the football - Sky box? IPTV?
  • Have you also got freesat/ariel source?
  • Does it only happen on football?
  • Have you adjusted the TV settings such as aspect, ratio, modes, etc?
  • What Hz is/are the TV?

Billy you really need to say more, say exact model of TV, what channel are you watching, is it UHD, HD or SD, have you set the output on your TV to 4K, what box or receiver are you uisng, is it AERIAL or DISH or IPTV. and bettter still say the game you were watching. A 65 OLED should be pretty good but you have to either get it calibrated or set the picture settings yourself with help from on here.

A good TV at 65" would be .... expensive need setting up but out of the box TV's I would look at SONY, LG, PANASONIC, SAMSUNG , in that order. Go to richer sounds .

First answer all of the above and maybe we can get you sorted.

Only on football. BBC etc. Fire TV and your free football from this. Got a Dish and ariel use freby football

As above , probably need to calibrate picture settings , was the BBC channels HD SD , did you try the same footy on different outputs , sat? aerial, iPlayer , fire TV , same result

I've experienced motion blur on my Lg oled G2 but that was IPTV and on a SD channel. No messing with any settings would change the outcome.

That is the words Motion Blur.

It never happened on my old LG 49inch.

Not boasting I just did it for size

Not enough information, was the LG OLED or LCD or LED and big is not always better. A proper OLED TV at 65" could set you back £2000.00 but with a bit of tweaking, ie diving into all those settings and turning most of them to off may improve pic to an acceptable level. Unless we know the model its like peeing in the wind. Was it this one ?

Hisense 65A85HTUK 65 Inch OLED 4K Ultra HD Smart TV

and the TV may never hamdle motion blur correctly but worth a try.

Are you allowed to return it from whence it came?

£2000 far to expensive.

I tried to use the enchantments on both tv's. Never solved problem of motion blur.

Enjoy Friday night football and 3pm.

England lassies game tomorrow, Miss out Europe.

Why is it that you have motion blur on Qled?

Loads of deals pop up LG G2's last year £680-£800 for 55"&65" . Decent out the box but still needed to tweak some settings. Deals again this year but never took must interest. Best deals on old stock mar-apr- may before they release new models
