I would say your box has to much stuff on it which is making it crash so need to make sure usb is initialized and then mounted on the box for extra memory. Be nothing wrong with the box just the way its setup causing issues

you don't need to contact any one if it is same box as xtream editor uses you mac address from you box. I replied in your other thread is usb initialized and mounted. if not you will be running out of space on the box.

Has he given you host, port, user and password?

You can use jedi or xtreamity if you have the details

Iv'e just told him the same on other thread he cannot install xtream editor
 
Bare bones image and just add what is required not all the unwanted stuff which will slow it up but a usb mounted is a must to avoid problems
 
Yes as far as I know I initialized it the first time I setup the box but I'll check again, I seen you replied in the other thread about the xtream editor but I can't get the xtream editor installed I have XE installed is it xtream editor and if it is why won't it let me imput my line?
Edit :- yeah the usb is initialized and I have a bare bones setup on it with just open atv 6.4 flashed onto it and a skin and that's it this time to see how I go.

I want to thank everyone in this and the other thread who helped me, it is very much appreciated, my box seems to be working well atm (fingers crossed) and I can access it via I-Channelizer now emoji_clap

One more thing if my box does freeze again how do I add my line, is there a tutorial anywhere?

box seems to be working, then you said clean install how do i add my line again if box freezes. same way you added it when you did clean openatv install.
 
I didn't add the line after I gave the Id code to the guy that supplied the line and then he activated the line for me.

yes but you should only need to do that first time your activation is via mac address on your box. I don't have xe on only tried it once I don't like to be tied to one plugin
 
Yeah it's a real pain, I have the line so I would like to be able to imput it myself and not have to rely on the guy I paid for my line, on a plus note my box and sub are working really well atm I'm running it with just open atv and a skin.

if that is the case then backup settings and also do full backup then if you have any trouble you can restore again.
 
menu,setup,system,storage devices,initialise
let it initialise
exit backk to tv
menu,info panel,plugins,swap manager
create
256mb
once its dun yellow to auto start,red to make active
exit into mount manager
green save on media/hdd
save let box reboot
 
@Oops for backup press blue button and select Complete backup and also Backup Settings now is also availabe.
Save Complete Backup to seperate fat32 formatted usb thumbdrive.
