Install apps from unknown sources Firestick

My supplier say's that and vega won't work you need 4k one or max.

I thought it was just vega that wouldn’t work. Makes sense though as I don’t see what else I could change in settings

At this stage I feel like I’ve tried every sort of combination to get it to work. I’ve changed nothing in settings apart from and and tried to change install unknown apps

To allow the Downloader app to install apps on your Fire TV, you need to enable unknown sources in your developer settings.
Go to Settings on your Fire TV home screen.
Select My Fire TV (or Device & Software), then click About.
Press the Select button on your remote 7 times on your device name until it says you are a developer.
Go back one menu, select Developer Options, and turn on Install unknown apps for the Downloader app.

When you install Downloader you have to allow it to install apps too have you done that ?

Anyone able to help me here? I’m a developer on my firestick but when I try to side load an app via downloader, I can’t allow it in the install unknown apps section, I’ve tried restoring to factory settings, clearing app cache/data and nothing works.

Appreciate any help anyone can give, at my wits end here

On the Downloader warning screen in post #1, if you click Settings, that should take you to allowing apps menu

Your supplier was spot on, I returned it to the shop and got the 4k one and it worked perfectly.
